Hedgehog Luv is the most well put together of all the companies I researched when deciding where to purchase my new pet. The layout of the site has been done beautifully and it is very easy to navigate and understand. Once you have decided to get your hedgehog from Hedgehog Luv, things only get better! The owner is extremely nice and was very responsive at all points of contact. When it comes time to actually pick your hedgehog, Hedgehog Luv delivers the options in an extraordinary way; their Motion-Pick videos. A simple picture like you would receive with most other companies does not show you all you want to see and therefore doesn't do the hedgies justice. With the Motion-Pick videos you get to see every angle of the hedgies, how active they are, and how they act around other hedgies. If I had just received a picture of the hedgies I could pick from, then I wouldn't have had a good perspective of them and may have made the wrong choice on which was right for me. The Motion-Pick video showed me exactly what I needed and wanted to see which made my decision very easy.

Most active when the sun goes down.

   Other times of the day are cuddle times. Sleeping in a bonding bag on your lap while watching a movie is a good example.
   Hedgehogs are nocturnal. They are most open and active when the sun goes down and the lights are dimmed. 
    ....But if you wait until evening (8:00PM to 11:00PM and later), the party starts for hedgie. He'll eat, run, try to escape, and explore :o)
When waking a sleeping hedgie :
      Just like us, an animal need a minute or two to fully wake up and determine whether you are friend or foe. She will remain in a ball until alert then slowly open up to interact with you.
